Apple Picking

In America apple picking is popular in the autumn and Kim was feeling a little homesick for some autumnal activities so we took a trip to the White House Farm in Norwich.

We paid £3 to fill a whole carrier bag of apples (you’d be surprised how many apples you can fit in a carrier bag!)  and they had all sorts of different types of apple in their orchard.

We also visited their pumpkin patch to pick out some little decorative pumpkins in the run up to Halloween.

We made a delicious apple pie in our new pie dish (it’s an octopus winking, in case you wondered) .

We also made some apple puffs…. and we still have a fridge full of apples!

White House Farm also have all sorts of fruit to pick so in the summer months I think we’ll revisit them.
